 Ordonanta 38.
   This was issued on October 11 1941 in Czernowitz - Ghetto day.
    It deals with things left out in the Ghetto establishment order of that
day.
    The name "jewish " does not appear but it is clear what is meant.
  The Order says :
" It is punishable by death for following :
    Anybody hiding people or help them leave the town.
      Rob evacuated houses.
      Trade in precious metals and stones is forbidden ( penalty 10- 20
years).
      Anybody who will keep valuables for others.
       Anybody who knows of such actions and does not report ".
       All this on the walls of Czernowitz on Oct .11 , 1941."
       Does one need more ?
        This gruesome document has its place of honor in the Popovici file.
