We also had a book on the life of bees and one, on the life of ants which I
had read with great interest. These were not illustrated and possibly not
meant for children. For years, I have tried unsuccessfully to remember the
name of these books and their author, I would like my grandchildren to read
them. If any of you have any suggestions as to which these books might have
been, please write me.

Mimi,

I shall try to make your wish come true before the end of the year.

BEES:

Die Biene Maja und ihre Abenteuer, by Waldemar Bonsels

ANTS:

Die Hochzeitsreise der Koenigin, by Harry Schumann

I am sure english translations are available for your grandchildren.

Have a good 2010!

Regards,

Fred Schneider
