Concerning the laissez -passer it is "propusk" no "a" at the end. As for
Cornel's photos, the gentleman serving drinks is his uncle, whom I knew very
well (he was at one time married to the sister of one of my aunts). But
what I was writing about is: Barenboim could nor be a Czernowitzer, if he
were the name would have been Birnbaum. Barenboim is the Yiddish
