Hardy....not a good idea,empty buildings deteriorate,get damaged by
hooligans,used by squatters..und so weiter! At least while it is being
used some degree of maintenance happens...and in the future...miracles still
happen!! Cornel

Let us speak practical.
  Bringing the Temple to its current condition was a costly
affair , restoring it to the original even more so.
  A six digit sum in USD.
  From where is the money to come ?
     The City ? They didnt pay for the Popovici plate nor for
cleaning of the cemetery - ridicule sums in comparison.
  Most of memorial plates and monuments pn Cz. are donations.
   Convincing the city of the benefits it would reap from such an
   investment needs a very skilled salesman.
    I do not expect the city to restore the Temple.
     Just let them get out.
    With the ice cream, the popcorn and the Shmattes.
  Leave the Schmidt memory plate. This is the only jewish trace left.
    An empty Temple is much better than the present condition.
