Hardy, this seem to be an unintentional confession by Gica of a genocide on Jews perpetrated by the Romanians.
 
So, Jews who (not necessary personally) witnessed "the Romanian genocide" were eligible candidates to be killed.
What does he mean with "provoked"? Anything more than the fact that they were Jews, in case the individuals weren't killers?

I in purpose put the genocide expression in quotes, as if we check killings by Stalinists there could be identified lots
of "genocides", of almost all ethnic groups in the SU. Some of them are more real genocides than that of the Romanians.
Take the example of the Chechen.

If Gica tells us the " only killed
the Bukovinean/Besserabian Jew", so what about the Jews of Odessa,
which was occupied by the Romanians, which never before was part of Romania and which Jews could not
be described as "witnesses" of "the Romanian genocide".

By the way, how can I access this blog to see the conversation directly?
