Hi
Re: visit in previous homes
I had a better experience in April 2009. I don't speak Russians or
Ukrainian, so I went with the guide Zoe Danilowicz. She knocked at the
doors and introduced us (I was there with my 2 daughters and grandson)
and we were received everywhere extremely friendly. We visited the our
House where we lived from 1932, and where the current owner showed me
even the Mezuza, which he moved from the visible spot at the main
entrance to another spot where it is not immediately visible (a
picture of it is on the ehpes website), the house where we lived until
1932, the apartments where bot my grandparents lived and even the
office which is in the building where the L# Juedisches Gymnasium was,
where I studied (There we went without Zoe and spoke English) .
