Dear Linda,

I'm delighted to learn that you are still here, as your former mail address mentioned in your Personal Itroduction from 2006 didn't work any more. This is just an interim mail, just to express my utmost gratitude for the Czernowitz and Vijenca pictures, that you uploaded to your Picasa Album:

http://picasaweb.google.com/LHSJFS717/Czernowitz#

Your pictures are absolutely amazing and I would kindly ask you, to permit us (i. e. Jerome [May I say that?] and me) to use them for the Ehpes.com Blog and the Ehpes.com Homepage. The pictures from Vijenca are illustrating the everyday life in the Children's Holiday Colony, as reported by Rose Ausländer. In the second part of Rose's report in "today's" article in "Der Tag - The Day"

http://czernowitzdaily.blogspot.com/
http://ehpes.com/blog1/2010/08/09/rose-auslander-reports-on-the-childrens-holiday-colony-in-vijenca/

Rose is describing a trial, exclusively led, organized and setteled by the children themselves. That has been (and still is) a revolutionary pedagogic method and I'm quite sure, that one of the pictures is displaying such a trial; in my eyes a great rarity.

Now, that I know, that you are still here, I'll cross-check my Czernowitz database and perhaps I'll find some additional data for you, as for example former and/or current addresses. I'll come back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you very much once more and best wishes from the Netherlands!
