Hi, all --

What's the English translation for "Bandbundwerkersaal" ? Sounds to
me like a workers' social center or union hall, but I'd like to be
more certain. It was part of the address from a 1901 marriage
announcement, and it is followed by what I recognize is the street
address of "Dreifaltigkeitsgasse" which you've already so kindly
explained to me a while ago. Somehow I missed noticing that I didn't
understand this first part!

Is anyone familiar with that particular "haal"? Did any of you get
married there? If so, what was it like inside?

Thanks. -- Jessica Falikman Attiyeh, San Diego, CA
