Asher, yes, you definitely were too young to remember anything.
But once born in Czernowitz, the town enters your system, whether you like
it or not. Of course it also has a lot to od with your parents' attitude,
who were Czernowitzers.
Czernowitz is not only a native city, it's a way of life. As proof you see
the many people who are connected to it and never set a foot there!
Does for instance a man who was born in, say, Berlin, who had a grandfather
or an uncle or whoever else born in London keep on dreaming about London
like we do about Czernowitz? I doubt it.
