As Lucca mentions am a member of the list. Schoene Eisenfeld was my
grandmother and she wrote a fictionalized account of the shipwreck. I
have a copy of the book in Hebrew and I will scan it and send it to
Mimi for translation. I can also send it to be posted on the website
if that is of interest. On the 50th anniversary of the sinking of the
Viitorul my mother, Evelyne (Esti) retold the story of those events.
We have a tape of her and my husband was working on transcribing it.
