Did any of you understand the implications of "Rabinowitch," the Synagogue and
the "Poor Jew?"

Ruth?

Galina placed this video clip on the Gruss.
This is a Ukrainean version of the Murka song transposed to Czernowitz.
Murka is an old criminal chanson very popular in Russia.
The tune is well-known- we too remember it.
Murka is a she-cat but in here she is a gang- leader's girl.
In this version all the Ukrainean politicians are involved and
I dont even try to understand the implications.
The lyrics ( seemingly explicit) follow the fate of the Murka ,
which seems not to have a happy ending.
But we have pictures of Czernowitz and the music is good.
