RE: [Cz-L]Charles' great uncle, a "Rechtssprecher"

My great-grandfather Chaskel Burger was a tailor and furrier in Sadagora,
and this was my grandfather's trade too, even after he emigrated to Chicago
around 1900 when he was about 20. Chaskel Burger's father, Monola Burger,
was a farmer in Sadagora. Another great-grandfather, Isaac Edelstein, owned
a grain mill in Sadagora.

RE: Charles' great uncle, I appreciate the suggestions re the definition of
"Rechtssprecher". In his inimitable way, Hardy's was particularly to the
point - "there is no such thing."

Charles, please offer an alternative if you can.
