Dear Friends, Since we are on the subject of Transnistria it is noteworthy
that on Friday, March 12, 2011 the Wall Street Journal carried a front page
article about the political struggle now taking place between Transnistria
and the Moldovian republic. Seven dense columns of explanation but no
mention at all of the wartime Jewish experience in Transnistria! " The
Forgotten Jewish Cemetery" ! Anny Matar makes some very valid points with
regard to factors that create public awareness.
