Each one of us has his own memories and view of things.
Quite possibly, Czernowitz was not as wonderful as most of us
like to think. There was not a poet, a painter or a singer
on every street. But, we aspired to having a poet, and a painter
and a singer on every street. This aspiration, is quite as important
as actually having all that talent among us. Oskar wild wrote:
"We all live in the gutter, but some of us look at the stars".
You might fall into a puddle while looking at the stars, but you will
have enjoyed the stars' luster.

Happy Passover to all, Enjoy and tell the story to your children,
grandchildren and to anyone who will listen, just like telling about
Czernowitz.
