Thank you Hardy for sending us the connection to Bucovina music.
A few days ago, Sasha Wolloch and I were eating in one of the
restaurants
off the Herrengasse. There was live music; mostly Ukrainian,
partially Romanian
and also "Hava Nagilla and "Hevenu shalom aleichem".
In the market, we bought roasted sunflower and pumpkin seeds, from
Romanian
speaking vendors. In the cemetery we met a Romanian speaking woman
from Hliboka.
