The name of my piano teacher was Hedy Gottlieb. She was a charming and very
young woman who also taught in the Czernowitz music school (they called it
"conservatorium") and thanks to her I can still read music very well, plai
the piano reasonably well, and when in a special mood, try again the
long-forgotten accordion.

Who am I?
I was not born before the war (blame it on my parents), but I do enjoy being
younger than the ones that were born before. I forgot some of my German and
Romanian (I picked up other languages since then) but I still can read and
understand. I do recite Schiller, though in Russian and I sing AND play
Kalman, who actually was very popular in USSR.
My paternal Great-Grandfather was an officer in K u K army.
This is fun. It brings back to life many memories.
BTW. Anybody from the 5* had a piano teacher b the name of Margaret
Goldenberg?
