On May 24. 1847 Franz Liszt gave with great success 2 public concerts in the Hotel de Moldavie in Czernowitz.
The ticket prices were very high and I do not know about a donation for a concert hall.
The concert hall (Musikvereinsgebäude) was built 30 years later in 1876/77.

Anybody else knows about it? It is hard to find today acoustic like that. They could use it in Kennedy Center concert hall.
