 On the streets of Czernowitz the Ukrainean boys used to call to us:
  " Kurva mama tvoya bula".( your mother was a ...)
     They were not speaking Polish or Japanese.
       To this we replied :
    " Tvoya nachrib,
       Zehn meter in Grib,
        Mit elektrischen Betrieb"
      (hard to understand but probate anti-curse means)
    Kurve was also very well used in Yiddish.
       Son of a bitch was Kurvesyn in Yiddish and Ukrainean.
