[Cz-L] Dorin Fraenkel of Radautz

I would like to share with you two further obituaries on Dorin Fraenkel's unexpected death on 25.05.11. The famous writer and photographer Ruth Ellen Gruber published on

The Swiss diplomat and writer Dr. Simon Geissbühler, author of "Jewish Cemeteries of Bucovina" and many other books commented as follows:

"Sad news. I never met Dorin Fränkel personally, but I only heard the best from him. Clearly a loss in a country (Romania) where only few Jews are left who have the knowledge about and the interest in Jewish history and Jewish heritage Mr. Fränkel had."
