Dear Friends,

The genealogical resource page for Jewish Bukovina research has just been
updated to include a number of items brought to my attention or created by
list members. Thanks go to Edgar Hauster ("Dead and Gone", Art Gallery,
and more), Christian Herrmann (Czernowitz history and Jewish cemetery
slide show), Yohanan Loeffler (Nepolokivtsi, Ukraine ShtetLinks website)
and others who have contributed with their thoughts and suggestions.

Note that there are now a few additional LDS microfilms with Jewish
records:
Sadagora: 1940-41 civil registrations of deaths
Wiznitz and surrounding villages: Jewish records now extend from 1918
through 1930 (birth, death, and marriage records)
Rohozna: 1933 civil registration of birth records

Hope to meet some of you at the IAJGS meeting in Washington beginning
tomorrow! (The Bukovina "Birds of a Feather" meeting takes place Tuesday
@ 8:00 AM.)
