RE: [Cz-L]Annual memorial service-70 years of expulsion of the Jews of Bukovina to Transnistria

I am sending this note to the Czernowitz list.
The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) in their "Adventure & Travel section (October
1-2, 2011) published an article about Transnistria, with no comment about
Transnistria's history. The title of the article is "Finding Yourself in a
Country That Isn't." Pridestrovskaia, which in English is Trans-Dniester or
Transnistria. The article is written by Mel Strauss on a "long strange trip
in Eastern Europe."

I think that in view of Noemi Eshet's note below you ought to be aware of
the WSJ recent "discovery"
