Dear friends,

Whoever managed to come earlier than 16:00 hrs. had no problem to find
seats. We (my wife and myself) came at 15:15 and had no problem. Arthur had
planned to be right now in San Francisco or New York. The organizers of the
event did a horrible job and instead of 16:30 hrs. it eventually started al
most 90 minutes later. However, the ceremony in general, its contents,
especially the speech of Rabbi Lau and the performance of Ruth Levin (whom I
personally know) were excellent.

Abraham K.

 Yes Yossi,
It was crazy!
(Not because of the 37 degree Celsius Chamsin.)

Rabiner Lau was sensational!

I was amongst the 30 people, or so, who couldn't find even a standing place
or a sitting place on the steps in the inter-spaces of the amphitheater. So
I set on the corridor (thanks to Anitta Zuessmann's daughter, who brought
chairs ) looking at the open doors of the hall. But I heard everything from
the loud-speakers.
My personal BONUS was, that I had a nice (and somewhat chaotic) chat with
our dear Cz.-List friends Anny Matar and (surprise!) with Ina Lancmann and
her sister Vita.

I've met with Mady Enzer (Gronich) who came with her friend Dr. Thea
Friedmann; with Anitta Zuessman and her daughter; with Sidi Gross and her
son, Nathan; with Prof. Ruth Enis ( sorry ,we sat in different buses) . I
think I've seen Rita Shilo from afar, couldn't find her later.

I looked for Abraham, Florence and Arthur. Were you there? And you, Noemi?
Miriam Lava? Lea Haber? Who else?
