Thank you Jerome and Noemi, for these deportation lists.

The transcribing of the data from the photographs onto spreadsheets is in many cases wrong.
The following names from the deportation lists nr.2 has been transcript wrong. This is my family and my self,
who has been deported to the stone quarry (Steinbruch in German) ( Carierele de piatra in Romanian)
The correct names are for 1024: Hitzig Josef(gender M,age38) ,teacher; for 1025 : Hitzig Ana housewife(gender F,age39), for 1026: Hitzig Emilian(gender M,age3), child; for 1027: Hitzig Paula(genderF) housewife.
The Register Books of those deported to Transnistria from Czernowitz has no date. My be it is 1941?

Children are listed!.
The photographs of the original register pages that contained names should be listed in your letter.
I'm interested in participating in this two jobs : to transcribe the Romanian occupation into English and enter them on the spreadsheet, and to check each transcribed name against the photograph and fix it if it's not correct.
My contribution can by valuable since my knowledge in Romanian, German and English is pretty good.
Best regards
Emil Hitzig

Thank you Jerome and Noemi, for these deportation lists.
I found the names of close relatives, of people I only heard about from my parents, familiar names of unknown people and also, Selma Meerbaum, the young poet.
Her name is spelled the Romanian way "Zelma".

Children are not listed. My close relatives had 3 children, who were deported with them. I believe that these relatives and Selma Meerbaum were in Cariera de Piatra, which might confirm that all the people listed, were sent to Cariera de Piatra.
