Dear Iosif,
The Lvov, Vilna and Kovno ghettos were under German rule,
not so Rumania.
Antonescu had to change his directives , recently issued.
What made him do so ?
Did he dream a "Mene Tekel" writing on the wall ?
The mongol hordes breaking through from the east?
     Filderman, Popovici, Schellhorn ?
      We will never know...
Hardy
