Re: [Cz--L] Popovici portrait on the Rathaus wall...

Many thanks to Jerome and Charles Rosner for allowing us to see the portrait
of Traian Popovici which now hangs in the Chernivtsi city hall together with
the portraits of all the other mayors of the city.

But I must disagree with Jerome about the quality of the painting.
In my opinion it is of terrible quality. It is obviously painted from a well
known photograph, but the painter made the hat too small, sitting too
forward on the head of Popovici, thereby making him look slightly
ridiculous.
Oh well!
