When you state that you are carrying on an “investigation” that seeks the “truth,” you imply that the veracity of the presently known history and information on and about Popovici is in doubt. That smacks of Senator McCarthy tactics.

A rather disturbing little storm in a teacup has been created here with innuendo about an unfinished “investigation” by a student, all seemingly to diminish the credibility of the man who saved a lot of Jewish lives.

This is the second time that our new contributor has introduced purportedly “new evidence” to bring down the well-documented heroic figure of Popovici, and we’re not amused.  This is Rupert Murdoch type journalism.
