Edgar, your report brought old emotions in me.

The interior, although it looks fit for a Harry Potter movie, has
Yiddishkeit forever. If I were a billionaire (Like Tevie the Milkman) ,
I"ll dismantle this Siret Synagogue and relocate it or build an exact
replica here in California.

The Chabbad Synagogue in in Roseville Granite Bay is an ex fire station
The Folsom Chabad Synagogue is in a shopping plaza. among other stores.
Instead of building, we have nice web sites:

https://jewishrosevillecom.clhosting.org/templates/articlecco_cdo/aid/830088/jewish/Building-Campaign/lang/en
http://www.jewishfolsom.org/templates/articlecco_cdo/aid/523869/jewish/Rabbi-Mrs-Yossi-Grossbaum.htm

Perhaps the way we will go we will have here in US synagogue services
via Webex or GoToMeeting. :-(

Instead I watch this project: "Jewish History in Galicia and Bukovina "
http://www.jewishgalicia.net/Gallery/Maniava.aspx

IS anyone from this project on this list? Fantastic work you guys did.
Again, if I was in charge of a sleek high tech from Israel or Silicon
Valley, I will establish an European Branch in one of the beautifully to
be restored Jewish buildings from the Area.

I am from Galati, where they were 20 synagogues and 15,000 Jews . The
only one which survived is Templul Meseriasilor I visited in 2009, was
breathtaking and serves the 250 Jews left in the town.

Yet, like the Siret Synagogues, the inside is not yet renovated:

For those who speak Romanian, here is a small history of Galatz Community
http://kehilalinks.jewishgen.org/galati/Galati_article.htm

Among the important industrialist from Galati, the article mentions "The
Brother Aronic". It is a typo. The real name is "Brothers Aronovici",
David (Dutu) and Aron (Aurel) Aronovii.

I am the son of Dutu Aronovici,

Here is the flower mill he and his brother build:

Join me please and let's visit the Synagogue of Siret! Open yourself, as I did, for this set of twenty-five still lifes:
