Hi Mimi,and list members,
So we have the same basic rememberings, all Jews, who lived once in
Czernowitz, or the descendants from "post-memory" as Marianne is calling it,
, but everyone had his family micricosmos, so also the histories can not be
the same...and that is the most intesring in our Ehpes stories...I think
that our big postmaster, Bruce, Jerome, Edgar, Hardy, and others, will put
together all the stories and it will be , like the Gold-book, a bible for
generations will come...bests regards
Hedwig

Hedwig is right, the povidla was stirred with a wooden big flat
implement.
Does anyone remember what the name of the wooden implement was,
with which the laundry was hauled out of the pot in which it was boiled?
