Gershon, Iris, Irene...

I believe Franz Porubsky would have enjoyed Google's amusing translation of the names of the two emergency doctors

Dr. Sternlieb - NOT DR. STERN - and Dr. Hamburger

perhaps despite the fact, that they came too late in order to save his life. However "today's" edition of "Der Tag", i. e. 24.08.1934/2012

http://czernowitzdaily.blogspot.de/

is releasing an obituary on Franz Porubsky and in both, Saturday's and Sunday's editions of "Der Tag" each, you'll find a short story written by Franz Porubsky, transcribed at the archives of "Der Tag":

Enjoy the coverage!

The story in German is much longer than the translation and deals significantly with the man himself, rather than just the graphic details of how he died.
