RE: [Cz-L] Czernowitz Community Calendar

I think that the program on November 8 in NYC below should be of
interest to all who can attend and worthy of listing on the calendar.
The book was very insightful and confirmatory of wide held beliefs re
the fate of many Czernowitz Jews during WWII.
As many of you know, the book dealt with the U.S. State Department and
Jews in Transistria during WWII

At the height of World War II, four lawyers in the US Treasury

the State Department had covered up reports of the Nazi extermination
scheme-and then blocked the rescue of 70,000 Romanian Jews forcibly
marched into the Nazi-conquered Ukraine and left to die of starvation
