I have now read all the various translations and still do not
understand what is happening.
Is the Tempel now property of the city or the regional government?
And is the city now selling it to a private person?
I have written to one couple I know in Chernivtsi and asked for
explanation
and have written to a former Czernowitzer who speaks Ukrainian and
asked for a translation.
Tomorrow I will write to some others.
I think we should not submit comments about this article until we
know more.
We may do more harm than good. I think that it may be necessary to
act diplomatically,
rather than voice our rightful indignation without calculating the
effect.
