My maternal ancestors came from Radautz, Bukovina and I recently joined
this group.
My mother and her parents were born and grew up in Radautz prior to WWI.
They emigrated to Montreal Canada in the summer of 1909. I recently had a
local genealogist research the State Archives in Suceava and the Town Hall
records in Radautz for family birth, marriage and death records. He found
many records in the archives going back to the 1870's. Each record listed
a house number in Radautz but not a street address.
While the research answered many family questions, it also raised quite a
few. Is there a way to convert archive house numbers circa 1870 - 1910 to
current street addresses?
All help greatly appreciated.
