Dear Richard,
My grandfather, David Kastner, was born and grew up in Radautz
in 1885, came to Montreal in 1900 to join two of his brothers who
were already living here. Eventually all but one of his siblings
came to Montreal. They are now scattered all over Canada, the
USA and Israel.
Please send me your photo and it will be my pleasure to put it
in the Photos of List Members Album on the Ehpes site:
http://czernowitz.ehpes.com - scroll down the menu on the left
side of the home page to find it.
Where did you live in Montreal and what are your parents' names?
I visited Radautz this past July and on Monday evening I am giving
a presentation on the trip I took, with my good friend and fellow Radautzer,
Sylvie
Gsell (also a list member).
Welcome to the list - this is amazing!
Merle Kastner, Montreal
