Hardy...
"GEDANKENDACH" is the Ukrainian-German Cultural Centre, founded in 2010, associated with the Czernowitz University and admirably managed by a team of young academics, among them Dr. Oxana Matijchuk (second f. l.),
http://ehpes.com/blog1/2013/09/06/cultural-center-gedankendach-in-czernowitz/
whom I know personally from my last year's journey to Czernowitz. She/they are doing a great job in emphasizing the Jewish cultural influence in Czernowitz.
"GEDANKENDACH" is a term created by Rose Ausländer for her poem "Die Architekten" (see above posting on our ehpes.com Blog) and if you are going to split the term into
GEDANKEN [thoughts]
D [abbreviation for Deutschland/Germany]
A [abbreviation for Österreich/Austria]
CH [abbreviation for Schweiz/Switzerland]
you'll get the double significance of the word for the German-speaking world. Please learn more by visiting the above mentioned posting or go directly to the GEDANKENDACH website:
