Dear Helene,

I wonder whether it is possible to collect enough data from the blog members to form and idea. I, for instance, read in addition Andersen's tales, Robinson Crusoe, Karl Mai and the whole Nibelungen saga - these could not affect my relation to the family. What did affect it was the attitude of my parents and my other relatives that was typical of the close-knit Jewish society, living in a small town, close to each other.

Regards

Mordecai
