Anny, this depends on :
1. The streets you have been on.
2. The quality of your memory.
I remember this all but too well.
The old Jewish streets were not better.
Today Tv dishes , plastic water pipes on the exterior
and pirate wirings from every pole only aggravate
the situation.
People come as tourists and see the few palaces=20
in the city center and write of the Kulturmetropole.

miserable, decaying NEVER when we lived there.
As the 100th anniversary has been and is gone so the need to repair =
the city remains a promise. Maybe at the 110 anniversary or another =
memorable date they'll wake up again!!!??
