Re: [Cz-L] German Stone Inscriptions

Thanks, Hardy, for this marvellous inscription. It's litterary model is
Chamisso's poem Frauen-Liebe und Leben:
Nun hast Du mir den ersten Schmerz getan,
Der aber traf.
Du schl=E4fst, du harter, unbarmherz'ger Mann,
Den Todesschlaf.
But the insciptions finds a new and gracious way to express this poetic
idea.
