Leon Blum was not just "a man", he was the elected prime minister of
France
during the years 1936-37.
He was the first Socialist, and the first Jewish premier of France,
presiding over the Popular Front coalition government.
He died in 1950, therefore I find it hard to believe
that he was interred in Buchenwald.
