I am afraid not! Mimi’s details are all correct, except that they relate to
Hardy’s second photograph, and not the first photograph, which is of a
different building.

The first photo, the former Landwirtschaftliche Mittelschule, is indeed
opposite the Volksgarten. I investigated it extensively in 2006 and took
photographs. The building has paintings of agricultural scenes on the
exterior. It is no longer a school.

The building in the second photo is in the Siebenburgerstrasse near the
Neuweltgasse and is quite different. This was Arthur and Mimi’s school. I
visited this with Arthur and have some photos of the classrooms. There is a
nice old photograph of this school here:
