No doubt about, it's a mix of both. From 1,200 possible phone numbers in 1936, about 100 were not - yet - assigned in this directory, f.i. no. 497 of Berti Glaubach's father. On the other hand, the Romanian editors, obviously trying to comply with the official Romanization efforts at that particular time, struggeled with the German and/or Jewish names.

Despite this inaccuracies, it's a valuable rescource, which is complementing the other directories (trade, industry, addresses); at least we located Berti's favorite Siegmund Grün Candy Store on Ciprian Porumbescu [Musikvereinsgasse] 4.
