 Edgar,

Among the phone directory I found "Flohr Emanuel dr med 11 Noemvrie 20
744"-my mother's uncle. I lived at his house for a couple of years
till my parents could get a place of their own. He was practising
medicine till 1960,

I also found several Krafts; not sure what's the relation; I remember
only my grandmother mentioning our relative Dr Kraft who was a lawyer
(advokat).

Hardy,

Thanks a lot for posting the Bonbonerie. My family spent hours trying
to describe to me the shops and the sweets in the pre-war Cz. One
photograph did it all!

Cheers,
Serah

On the other hand, the Romanian editors, obviously trying to comply with the official Romanization efforts at that particular time, struggeled with the German and/or Jewish names.
