Thank you very much for your message. I always enjoy your list emails and I love your blog. In fact, I visited Czernowitz a few years ago. It was beautiful, but I couldn't find the Czernowitz of my grandmother's memories. I guess it's not the buildings that have disappeared but the people and the culture - which live on on through this list.

I also should thank you because a few months ago you sent a lost email about an exhibition on Hapsburg Jews at the Jewish museum at Hohenems. I went to see it, and it was excellent.

Please let me know if you're ever passing through Geneva!
