Hi Gaby,
I found Mihalcea on an old map and that helped me place it on a current
map:

It’s now called Mykhal’cha and you can see the Koroviya River marked on
the map just to the southeast across road P62. I believe it must be the
same as what you remember as Korowlia. It flows right by Mykhal’cha.
