Dear Miriam,
My family and I were deported to Bershad from Chernowitz in October 1941. My sister Yidisel(18 months old) and my Paternal grandparents are buried in this cemetery. I did not know about this monument until now. I wish I had known about your project and could have helped.
My heartfelt thanks to you and all who helped with this project.
