September 2015
Dear colleagues,
Please take a moment to look at the program of the upcoming July 10-13, 2016
international conference in Haifa, Israel - Founder Populations and Their
Contribution to Our Understanding of Biology and History - Lessons from the
Jewish Genome.
This is a unique, out-of-the-box, multidisciplinary meeting to discuss study
of one of the most significant founder populations in the world, the Jewish
community.
More than 50 world-renowned speakers will engage in sessions on population
genetics, on the tracking of historical movements of Middle-Eastern
populations vis-a-vis genetic findings, on Jewish genealogy, genetic
syndromes, and genetic mutations unique to Jewish and Middle-Eastern
populations, and will provide a forum for discussions on ethical and social
aspects of population genetic studies, including the role and value of
genetic screening in founder populations and a look into future large-scale
genetic sequencing efforts in the world.
Registration, abstract submission and other information can be found on the
conference website: www.foundergenomics.com
Don't miss out on this one of a kind conference - register today!
The meeting is intentionally scheduled for the summer months to enable
family vacations in our sunny, beachfront city of Haifa.
