Jews in all parts of Europe spoke the language of the majority of the popul=

There certainly were highly educated Jews in many major European cities;
Like Prague, Vienna, Dusseldorf and others, but in Czernowitz at that time,
most of the Jews were from other parts of the Ottoman Empire and quite poss=
