Czernowitzers...
Did I exaggerate, when I stated in my yesterday's post that the ANNO Full-T=
ext-Search is a unique research tool?

No, I didn't, but decide by yourself. This is the obituary for my great-gra=
ndfather Mechel (Michael) Fleischer, deceased on October 16, 1908 in Czerno=
witz, subsequently to a diabetic coma.
http://ehpes.com/blog1/2015/12/24/mechel-michael-fleischer-1842-1908-mens-t=
ailor-in-czernowitz/
He was the co-founder of the Men’s Tailor Store Binderer & Fleischer as e=
arly as 1858. In 1881 Mechel became sole owner of the well-established busi=
ness on Herrengasse; his customers came mainly from the middle class and th=
e civil service. Mechel’s colleagues from the Tailor’s Association carr=
ied him to his grave while his family was in mourning for him, i. e. his wi=
fe [Fanny Fleischer, née Ehrlich], his son [Emil Fleischer, Deputy Statio=
n Master in Czernowitz] and his two daughters, the first one [Gusta Bardach=
] married to the postmaster Bardach in Stanislau and the other one [Marjem =
Hauster, my grandmother] married to the engineer Hauslich [correct, Elias H=
auster, my grandfather] in Czernowitz.
Any further hints to the Men's Tailor Store Binderer & Fleischer on Herreng=
asse? However, by researching ANNO, I meanwhile know more about my great-gr=
andfather than my late father knew about his grandfather.
