Dear Robert
I am sure we connect - It started with two Kula brothers in Raranczea
and another one in Korowia . The connection between us must be very
remote . I am sure it must be from before 1850 . The names of Josef
Kula my grandfather , born 1878 parents were Abraham and Reisel Kula ,
my grandmother Dora's parents were Hersh ( Hirsh ) and Henni Kula -
Abraham ( Avrum ) and Hirsch were brothers . All the family members
after that are known to me and I do not have a Max Kula .
The Fischler familie ( Colombo Fischler and Clara Kula ) came to the
USA around 1920 , they lived in Florida . They had a son Max Fishler
. They are the only one from my family which I can not locate .
There were more Kula's in Israel who were very remote relatives -
they all knew of each other . Only after I came to the USA , I lost
contact .

I don't see where our families connect. It might be useful if you could create a family tree. Mine are posted at the Leo Baeck Instutute website with copies of some correspondence, and include where known the dates of birth marriage and death, and places. It is very strange to me that when I google Kula or my father's family names - Budabin and Schurtmann (sic. spelling), nothing comes up although they were also prominent.
