governor of Transnistria, Emanoil Cercavschi, to Sigmund.*
*The form or letter regards the sum of 5k lei he was attempting to transmit
to Jenny Landwehr. This note rejects the transaction and requests that he
submit a receipt from the BNR (the Romanian National Bank) in order to get
the amount transferred into RKKS, the wartime currency. *

be sent to the Jewish Committee and handed over to the lady Jenny Landwehr,
with honor we communicate the need for you to submit your receipt omitted
by B.N.R. without which it is impossible to get the equivalent in
ReichsMarks to the person indicated in your earlier address.
