The sad news about Aharon’s death, hit me very hard.
Not only did we share the same fate, but we also became good friends throughout the years. Before the publication my book, „Ruth’s Journey,“ I visited him and his wife in his house near Jerusalem. Luckily I kept his telephone and address, so I was able to call and express my condolences to his wife and children. Mrs, Appelfeld told me that they moved from Jerusalem to Givataym just 2 weeks ago.
Should any of you want to send a condolence card to the family, please write down the new address.
